SPB Time

I second the request for SPB time, that is the only app I use not already on the kitchen, which is awesome BTW.

If someone does make one please post it, I'll make sure I do if I can ever figure it out.

Looking into creating the Odyssey Mobile OEM, they way their installer works it could be painful, will just have to take a crack at it and see. What maps do you have currently? Since Sprint sent me a new phone I can't re use my key to manage the maps, and I recently moved.

Exclamation

I need Help with OEM for two programs.
(1) Isilo
Link for download is http://www.isilo.com/download/436/iSiloPPC.htm

(2) E-Sword is has two cabs that I will send via email or other means. (1) is for the e-sword program (2) is Microsoft SQLCE 2.0.

Or you can download the program here.
http://www.e-sword.net/pocketpc/file...05setup301.exe
The cabs are in the program folder.

Thanks for any help guys. If someone can make these for me that would be great.

I'll even take some help on doing it myself (that would be even better). I've searched threads to figure it out myself and I'm just a little confused and need to be pointed in the right direction

e-sword is great, but massive. Not only do you have the program, but you've got the SQLCE and the bible texts too. I just install it to my storage card. If it's in ROM, you would have to take EVERYTHING else out.

Just as a quick fyi for those looking for oems - most programs out there not only do not need to be installed, but work just fine off the storage card. I created a cab file to insert the shortcuts I use for a list of about 20+ pieces of sw on my card when I rebuild (or you can just copy/paste as I first did) into the start menu. You don't have your rom cluttered with only ocasional use software. The only ones you absolutely need on the machine and off the card is stuff that runs on the today screen, or is running all the time.

I build about 5 pieces of sw into the kitchen that are required to be on rom (like smartskey, null kbd, sip change...) and 90%+ of my sw is just on the card, with no actual install...

Try it first...

Hey jhonny11... What programs do you use from your storage card? Do you find it to be excessively slow? I keep all of my "services" applications on my built in ROM and occasional use programs on storage card.

Cheers,

i prefer baking my apps into the rom cause otherwise they would clutter up my storage memory on the device as well as the sd card. as with most things it is truly an issue of preference.

nautica - I do agree, but my big issue is trying to have as clean a rom as I can. I don't know if it really does run smoother, but it appears to...

Drewidian - all my games except hearts (I have backgammon, uno, yahtzee, bookworm, cubis...) Memmaid, phm notepad and regedit, dotfred regeditor, GS Finder and GSplayer, htc home customizer, pocketpdf, pocketrar, pocketxpdf, tcpmp, wififofum to name a few Anything I run irregularly (except games, they are fine) I keep on the card. And I do not install any of them - just put a shortcut to the app in the start menu. Create them all once, then copy them to your card for backup. If you are into creating cab files (WinCE Cab manager) then you can create a cab as I did to just place them all in the start menu.
