I admit I have a lot of 3rd party software running, and for me CG ultimately wasn't worth the trouble or memory sacrifice. When it works, it is great, though! I'd hoped that running it from ROM might magically make it work more consistently. At any rate I'm glad this OEM works for those that can use it.

interesting observation last night >> If you set the option for an always on EVDO connection, Calligrapher will fail to load at soft-reset. Don't know why, but I"m guessing it has something to do with an EVDO connection attempting at soft reset. I Also noticed some other programs stop working correctly if this option is set.

Would love some assistance

I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to lend some assistance making an OEM of the free Olive Tree Bible Reader?

I keep trying and keep failing.

You know, I was SBSH PocketWeather's biggest fan till the last time I cooked a ROM from the 1.0.2 kitchen and on a whim included the MarsWare WeatherPanel OEM. Have you tried it? It seems to do almost everything PocketWeather does (some things better, actually) and it already exists in the kitchen. A couple of tweaks on the auth settings and it works great.

I'm not planning on going back to SBSH PocketWeather, myself.

The two OEMs I plan on trying to get working are:

(1)Infogation Odyssey Mobile (GPS nav app... apparently I'm the only one here who has ever heard of it) and

(2)Opera Mobile... but since v9 is imminent I will wait on that one instead of messing with an OEM for v8.

Yeah... I looked at WeatherPanel and there were some things I liked about it. On the today Screen it works ok but I really liked Pocket Weather's interface. Here are a couple of screenshots of how I have my setup. I did cook my own ROM with WeatherPanel and most of what I want is there. It's pretty stable, and has almost everything I need. I use SPB's today plugin with pocket weather today plugin for a tab and it works pretty well I have quick access to my weather information. Weather Panel's layout wasn't quite right and I had issues where it wouldn't load properly. I've aded SPB Diary and the SPB Phone Suite as well it works out pretty well for quick access to my favorite today plugins and I have it setup where it takes the whole screen when I select the plugin. Take a gander.

I am going to customize it a bit so that the license keys automatically install. I've purchased a few programs that I find I can't live without mostly its SPB stuff, but this one I really like. I.P. Dashboard is pretty cool and has most of the functionality that GPRS Monitor has and while it doesn't have the pretty graphs that GPRS Monitor has, Its alot lighter. I'm a network admin and its come in handy a few time when I've been trouble shooting our wireless net.

What are your favorite OEMS in your ROM Answerman? What WeatherPanel layout are you using?

Thanks for the input.

I'm partial to the NewTab-Large and WIP layouts in WeatherPanel, myself.

tmail.exe and flexmail 2007

i see there's an OEM for flexmail but whenever I build the kitchen it gives me an error that tmail.exe already exists. Is there any way to mend this?

Sorry, I've been meaning to get around to fixing the Flexmail OEM. Just don't have the time...
I just remove the tmail.exe file from the OEM when I do my own builds. It is already in the ROM anyway. Flexmail works just fine with it gone! (you still need to input your own registration code...)
