TierMann's First ROM. From 1.04. For Sprint and Vz (8/9/07)

DATA IS DISABLED in these by default due to some people having problems where data was connecting before they even get into windows for the first time and they were getting charged.
Use the NoData program in the start menu to re-enable it if you use it.

These also contain the Extended ROM for the respective carriers.
DO NOT run the automatic customization. Soft-reset your device if you get the "Customizing in 3 seconds" screen or it will bork your SMS.

==System==
-Transcriber
-Enterprise
-Games (Stock)
--Kevtris
-.Net Compact Framework2
-Firmware Update
-Remote Desktop Mobile
-Office 2005
-ExtRom Unlock
-PPC/XV6700 Hack (App for tweaking some system settings)
-ArcSoft MMS 3.0.6.24
-FdcPIMBackup
-NoData (for disabling/enabling your data connection)
-NullKeyboard (for people who hate the SIP popping up)
-SIP change (for some people having problems keeping their SIP options set)
-dotFred Task and Registry editor
-WM5NewMenu (can be set to the softkey to replace calendar)
-WM5Storage (Tricks pc into thinking your ppc is just a usb card reader. Good for transfering files to pc's that don't have ActiveSync installed.)
-Total Commander

==Apps==
-HTC Camera
-1Calc Lite
-Windows Media Player
-TCMP (another media player I like better for video)
-ClearTemp (Runs on startup and cleans old junk, configurable)
-10-button Comm Manager
-HTC Streaming Player
-HTC Task Manager (X button)
-HTC Voice Recorder
-HTC 6-button Today plugin
-HTC Audio Manager
-Mark All As Read (added to poutlook)
-PocketCM 0.7b ("Fingerfriendly" contact manager, replaces right softkey)
-Cyberon Voice Dialer (As opposed to MS Voice Command)
-VJCandelite (Turns your camera's light on for a short time without starting the camera. I use this a lot for a flashlight)
-Adobe Flash 7
-Esmertec Java
-Illium Screen Capture

==Tethering==
-MS Internet Sharing
-Wireless Modem (for using your data connection with PC's)

==Theme Changes==
-BL Black Keyboard Skin
-Custom boot and windows splash screens
-Crossbow Dialer (also include ##codes in start menu just incase)

Download the EXE for your provider and run it. It's self-extracting and self-flashing. Make sure you have your phone in bootloader mode and connected via USB.

I used the NoUID version of the flash utility so if this doesn't work for you for some reason then just rename the exe to zip and move the nk.nbf to the folder of the flash utility you usually use.

=== Download for VERIZON
=== Download for SPRINT

I recommend getting the HTC Customizer and unzipping it to a storage card so you never need to reinstall it. It's used to customize the 6button HTC Today plugin

Feedback is welcome, but please post any bugs in the respective threads.
If there's a bug with any app that doesn't have it's own thread, please post it in the 1.04 Kitchen Bugs thread.

I would like to hear opinions though so I know what to add or leave out if I decide to do another.

Ill give it a try-
is there any way to short cut the contacts?
I have been trying to get to "S" and have
to scroll forever with the Pocket CM.

Ill pass you some feed back soon.

Boot up is fine for Sprint.

Was it attached to USB when you soft-reset, and have you hard-reset after flashing the rom?

Silly questions, but reseting while attached to USB is listed in the 1.04 bugs thread as giving that result. I also know that not hard-reseting will do the same thing.

Other than that, I could suggest a hard-reset then modify/install one thing at a time and soft-reset inbetween to pinpoint the problem.

---
Changing the registry key...
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:M SCONTACTS]
From "\\Windows\\pocketcm.exe" to ":MSPOUTLOOK contacts" (No Quotes) will set everything back to the old default contact manager after a soft-reset.

Edit: For future releases (most likely not til next kitchen) I've created a couple reg files and I'll add links in the start menu for switching back and forth between the contact managers more easily.

Yup. Just double checked it with my HT820's and the Wireless Stereo profile came up.

I believe that the Vista Battery was locking it up.

Nice Rom and great work!

Any suggestions for a battery monitor on the today screen?

Awesome

Glad to hear it's working for you now. For battery info I've been using wisbaradv3 and wisbaradv desktop (which allows you to make meters for everything), so I'm not much help there as far as info plugins go.

PowerStatus looks pretty nifty though if you want the top bar style... It gives you free memory status too.

Slightly smaller footprint in WisbarAdv3 (beta 6) and I havn't been having any probs with it. A lot of people have been reporting that the betas are using up less memory than 2.x versions too. It's a public beta too and the latest (beta 6) is active til Aug 30th if you wanted to try it out. If there's still bugs to be worked out he'll post a new beta with some more extended time too.

Using my ppc without wisbar drives me insane, hehe.
