Never mind; the link is still active -- my firewall had been blocking it here at work.
Here's the link to MMS 3.5.1.5: http://www.hi-pda.com/forum/viewthre...age%3D1&page=1 Don't know if it works or anything else about it. |

Edit:Nevermind, I found it, after some searching, lol. I hate it when .rar's are split into parts! |

Can someone do me a favor? I'm at work, so I cant hit many sites, alot of them are blocked. If you could, do a google search for Arcsoft MMS 3.5.1.5 and upload anything you can find on the topic. Thanks

gonna try it in a little, but what is the other file for, the .mui file. thanks
So i hard reset....didnt let verizon ext rom to install, then ran the cab. it puts a mms folder, but when i click "new" it just puts a message in the out box. it wont open settings, wont open the outbox mms message either, maybe the .mui file is needed??? but where... and if anyone cant get any info from helmi on exactly what arcsoft he had in his rom before changing back to the original...

none of these have the CDMA translator DLL or registry references to CDMA, i dunno if its possible to make this work on our devices. Hopefully verizon or some other CDMA carrier puts out a device with a newer version.
until then, try troubleshooting from the standpoint of getting it to interface with the CDMA_API.dll file. look in the existing RGU file and you should see references to that file as well. We suspect that the interface for CDMA calls that DLL from some other files, but we just dont have the knowledge neccesary to figure it out, and subsequently hack the calls in properly bypassing the existing GSM network protocols

ok, i didnt understand one word. lol. all i know is helmi had or has a arcsoft MMS that worked for me on his R4 release. just have to figure out how he had it working. if he has his oem's/kitchen/whatever from that it should explain a lot right? i used one he has on the ftp, put it in the oem foleder in the new rom, works right except it doesnt play 3gp video files, u have to save them then play them, so its kinda annoying getting flix messages. if i remember correctly there was this problem before and he somehow fixed it, but way over my head.
