*Reviving this thread*

My dad is having this issue... he claims he never had this problem with sprint before.

I've had this issue with sprint with my old vision phone costantly so I completely stopped using voice mail all togther. I just felt the sprint network really sucks for voicemail and there is nothing that can be done....

Maybe it is true..

I know these phones can be configured to ping the towers more often and being on the edge of getting a signal it probably has an effect.

I just updated my PRL to 20229 using the MSL keygen and the ##775#. Just one quick question. I loaded the .prl file onto my storage card to do the update. Can I remove the file now that I have done the update or do I have to leave it there?

You can remove it. #775 copies it into the phone's nvm so the original file is no longer needed.

Is there any way, besides calling Sprint, to get the MSL #?

Regarding removing the prl from your storage card... keep a copy there just in case there's some freak accident where I have to restore to a new phone. It's only a few Kb.
