Correct.
If you use the ##775# method, it will just soft reset when completed.

Interesting observation -- I am running the current 1.0.2 Hemi kitchen. The *2 OTA update worked perfectly for me (for the first time EVER). I then tried to update my wife's PPC6700 using that method. She's still running the Sprint Official ROM that shipped with the phone. No luck.

Either this is just a bizarre coincidence, or (as I choose to believe) the new ROM has solved our problem with OTA updates.

I wonder why this 20229 prl is so much smaller than the other ones? This one is 2.6kb, while the previous ones were more than 4kb.

For those asking about the keygen, see this thread:

http://www.ppcgeeks.com/help-unlocki...,60.html#66905

I have it set to take you right to the post where he posts the link for the keygen that will work on non-WM6 HTC devices.

So far, its an HTC only keygen but it works. Just make sure when you enter your ESN, its in all caps!

The ARCHIVE is only 2.6k. Look at it after you extract it.

20227.prl: 4.49k (4607 bytes)
20229.prl: 4.48k (4594 bytes)
20229.ZIP: 2.66k (2724 bytes)

It is 13 bytes smaller though. Probably a few towers were taken off the prl and not as many added.
