lost touch sensitivity in the center of screen

after i dropped my ppc 6700 on a wood floor off my bed i noticed my alignment was off. after setting up the alignment it goes on as an endless loop not registering and i can not get out of the alignment setup. i finally realized i lost touch sensitivity in the center of the screen about a centimeter squared. the screen is in perfect condition and there is no physical indication that the screen is messed up in anyway. i insured the phone about a week ago. what can i expect when i bring the ppc6700 to the sprint store?

i also noticed that when i insert headphones in the jack i lose sound afterwards when i take it out. should i mention this problem as well?

i also can not get this phone to sync any longer, as it use to sync with no problems.
