Well if you did put insurance on it I bet you are thanking yourself now. However, filing a claim may get you another 6700 or it may get you a 6800. It just depends on who you speak with and what they have.

Either way, with this unit here I think you already know you sustained some damage after you dropped it. If a hard reset does not resolve it then you may look into replacing the screen digitizer with one off ebay. Those headphone jacks are a known issue with the pins getting stuck from plugging and unplugging headphones and not allowing sound to come out of the main speaker after they have been unplugged. The pins inside get stuck and the device thinks there are still headphones plugged in. So jusy FYI on that one.
