No Send/Receive in Outlook Mail Messaging

Is anyone else experiencing a grayed out "Send/Receive" command in Outlook E-mail? It works with my other accounts. Typically if you are in Messaging and click Send/Receive it initiates an ActiveSync sync. Now it's just gray and won't let me activate it. I am just using ActiveSync instead, but man I used this feature a lot.

-Did you select the Verizon carrier customization?

-Did you prevent the Verizon customization in your Extrom from running (by clearing your extrom, or restarting within the 3 second window provided to do so on first boot)?

Not sure regarding the whole worked yesterday, doesn't work now deal. Generally you don't need, or want to run the initial boot Verizon customizations with one of these ROMs.

You might try hard reseting your phone (both front, upper, side buttons (the -'s) + stylus reset. That should reset the phone to the same state it was in at it's first boot, and give you a chance to avoid the Verizon customization.

Hmm... dont know if this is just my device, but whenever I try to use the built in my pictures, the phone locks up. I remember reading something about it on a helmi thread and it had a solution, but i forgot to bookmark it. It involved copying a file from the \windows directory....

i tried searching the forum... nothing.

anyone got a clue on what i need to do? (hey that rhymes!)

thanks

BTW thanks all of you dev's for your hard work on these awesome roms!

Send a message via AIM to HostileJava
I am also have problems sending TXT messages to other carriers. I can send TXT to my wife's phone with no problem, however when I try to send them to my brothers phone, maybe one out of four will go through. I tried changing the different registry settings mentioned and I do not have the verizon software installing after a hard reset. After making the registry changes I soft reset and retest each time. Sometimes the first one will go through, but then I have to send 3-4 more before he get's another one. I also replaced the file above before creating the ROM.

Possible Alert bug?

Has anyone else had an issues with repeating alerts when the phone is sleeping? This used to happen in older ROMS when the phone is asleep and a repeating alert wakes the phone up the left softkey doesn't change to Notification, thus you can't stop the repeating alert unless you soft reboot. After the soft reboot the phone is active and the alert fires and the left softkey turns into Notification properly.
