Not really a bug, but how can I sync my onenote desktop with onenote mobile? It seems if onenote is included as an OEM it does not recognize it as a syncable app under AS settings.

On a separate note, I'm wondering if it's possible to setup the data connection to turn itself on and off as needed. I may have missed something, but it seems like with the 1.0.1 version of the kitchen, the data connection would turn on when ActiveSync would do a poll of the Exchange server or when you initiated a connection for Internet, etc. The arrows above the signal bars would disappear and then reappear when there was data traffic.
With the 1.0.2 version of the kitchen, the data connection (and the arrows) seem to stay active all the time. I'm wondering if this has anything at all to do with the decreased battery life I've been noticing (I've tried different radios all to now effect). Any thoughts? Has the "Always On EVDO" setting been checked somewhere in the base ROM? I did try the other carrier-specific ROMs that had the Data disabled and I didn't notice anything different. The arrows still appeared when my phone first established a data connection using #777. Any thoughts? |

I'm not sure when, but I think an option was changed to allow Wi-Fi connection to stay open while connected to USB. I havn't noticed any problems here because I always have Wi-Fi on anyway and don't have a Verizon data plan (always just deleted the #777 number). It may just be that you noticed on older roms when it was switching between USB and Wifi for data.

I noticed that now under Settings > Connections > USB to PC I can now check and uncheck that box at will. Before it would either lock up or just not allow me to do it. I was having problems with older ROMS kicking out my wireless when I connected my PPC to the PC. I had to use the ActiveSync mod.
I don't know if that is data related, just an add-in if not. I need a little clarification from you guys. Up top, I either have EV or 1X all the time. My signal bars have arrows occasionally and otherwise have the tower icon. Is this correct, or should I be showing the data arrows where EV/1X is now? Edit: They change during ActiveSync to horizonal arrows, the top pointing right and the bottom pointing left. Unplug and it's back to EV. Just had my fist lock up. I tried MiniMo for a minute, uninstalled it and that's when I started having problems. I just did a hard reset to see if that was it. I sure hope so. I'm loving this whole "do it yourself" kitchen and would hate to have my first set back. |

Now, the data bars are there all the time. They never turn off. My theory is that the "always on" connection is what's draining my battery so quickly (I get through maybe 1/2 a day before I have to recharge my XV6700). That EV/1X icon will switch between the two. Your data arrows won't show up there. |
