So, is your TomTom 910 working correctly now?
Someone else had the problem with the tomtom, don't know if he ever got it working. However, bluetooth DUN now works fine with my Nokia 770 internet table.

Phone locks on boot when put into Flight Mode then soft rest

First off thanks everyone for this great resource. I was off at the cottage for a three days weekend and thought I would try my had at cooking my first ROM. All I can say is wow it's easy, thanks for all the hard work.

The only issues I hit was my phone would fail to boot after a soft boot. After cooking some different roms (with less and less programs each time) I finally figured out the problem. Being up at the cottage I get no cell service. Usually I switch to flight mode to save battery power. I found if I soft boot the phone while in flight mode it will hang on boot and requires a hard rest to finally boot.

Maybe this is related to the phone log issue? The phone boots and try to run that dll to create a log but with no radio on it hangs? Just an idea. I would like to test but I'm unsure where to get the 'other' version of the dll. Any help for an n00b cook would be great.

Sorry, thought you had the problem w/ the TomTom.
I'm about to reflash w/ a new rom that includes those files. I'll report back on my results.

luv2chill, thanks for all your hard work.
Could you give me a hint as to when you might release 1.0.3.

Love what you have done with the Kitchen.

Just Re-flashed w/ the needed files, and was able to connect to the TomTom 910 via Bluetooth DUN. Now the TomTom Plus features work.

I had to use the following manual setup in the TomTom

Access Point name: Evdo (whatever - doesn't matter what you name it)
Username: mobile#@vzw3g.com (your 10-digit number)
Password: vzw
DHCP-auto and DNS-auto
Number to dial #777
Logon Script left blank.

now if I can get it to read my text messages out loud, I'm all set.

Serious problem going on with the backlight reverting back to 10 seconds after reboot. I noticed the same thing when I upgraded directly to the bell south rom and was hoping it would be somehow fixed with this kitchen but its still there and very annoying. I can uncheck the box to even have it turn off and it will recheck it back to 10 seconds. I've looked at the registry and dont see anything apparent. I can't believe no one else has posted this.

**Edit**
I think I may have figured out the regedit for this issue, I'll post back after testing.

Maybe it's not the DLL...

Sorry, this isn't going to help you much Avatar, but...

I think there might be more to the problem than just this DLL in and of itself.

I use Alltel as well, and I have been running v1.0.2 since it was released. SMS works fine for me and I haven't seen any of the issues reported. I checked my registry and for the above key I have the "stock" setting (HTC_SMS_Providers.dll). Yet, it all works fine for me.

So, perhaps it is something else, or a combination of this DLL and one of the OEMs? I'm running a pretty basic ROM... I can get you a list of OEMs if it will help.
