A few more quick questions and I'm done.

Is anyone else having a problem with Image Converter.exe? I posted my specific problem on the page before this, comdlg32.ocx is not registered correctly. Any advice?

Also, how do I package my ROM into an executable file with the installer? Like the customs I can download on other pages here?

Can I install my Exchange cert through my ROM? I'm using the Sprint ROM additions and there are certs in there. What program would I call to do that?

Thanks again!

I get the same error, Ryan. I even tried registering it with regsvr32 but it didn't make a difference.

Is anyone else's phone refusing to boot past the WM screen? It seems to be fine for a day or so, and then I have to do a hard reset and reinstall everything. I installed very few of the options in the 1.2 kitchen so I think it has to be a conflict with some other software I've installed. Unfortunately it never does it right away, so the install one program, soft reset, etc., plan doesn't help. Any ideas? TIA - sheureka

This happens to me on occasion, but I don't go as far as hard reseting my device... never had. I find that if it locks up on boot, a good soft reset will fix the issue. If for some reason it freezes on the second boot, I remove my battery for about 10 seconds and then replace and it always boots after that.

I think this may be due to some OEMs that I've got installed, but I haven't tracked down the culprit.

P.S. If you're running nightly backups with Spb Backup, then the Hard Reset isn't that big of a deal.

Could be because the .rgu GUID is wrong (doesn't match the .dsm or options.xml GUID)

Atttached is 1.18 (mostly untested, use at your own risk). According to A_C, it has some fixed memory leaks and CallerID support. check the readme for more details and info on CallerID support - it has it's drawbacks.

that MMS will not work, its from a NON CDMA device and we are unable to port it properly to support CDMA devices.

if you wish to see for yourself, install it, setup your server settings and then you will see the same error as the previous attempt

"Version is not supported"

besides, there are no new features anyways, and the old one has a MUCH smaller footprint.

Thanks Big J, that likely explains why the thread disappeared.

No errors at boot time, but on a manual start (didn't wait for auto) I get this:

PPL Runtime Error
App: Slide.exe
File: Slide.exe
Proc: WINMAIN
Opcode: LOADSPRITE
Char/Line/Offset: 0, 0, 0x005141b0

Error loading image \Windows\wallpaper.bmp

This is expected, correct? Didn't you post the correct registry values with the assumption that it would fail on the first try? For me, any manual start gives me this error.

I also got the Image Converter.exe to function on my office PC. Don't know what's up at home, but I have my new boot screen image. Shared if anyone is interested. You'll have to convert it yourself so it will show on here.

I've updated the download. Try it now.

I tried it out last night...much smoother, but I can't get it to activate on idle. Is it just me? [Edit: no, it's not just me. A-C took this out because of behaviour during extra long phone calls. Maybe it'll come back as an option in a future release]
