Build another ROM and flash it. Put your phone in bootloader before flashing.

I'm also having problem with bluetooth DUN. Can't get it to work with my Nokia 770, it's not seeing any available profiles.

Better yet, unhide and unlock your extrom (there is a cab for that), or flash the blank extrom file so those cabs are gone forever. You no longer need them!
If you run them you will have problems one big one was my sms messages were messed up and i kept loosing my sd card.

So thanks again to Luv2Chill and Colonel
I was wondering about this.....This is my 1st time cooking a ROM, after I flashed, I got the "customizing your device in 3 seconds" prompt. What exactly is being installed at that time? And is that from selecting the Sprint ExtROM in the Carrier Customize group in BuildOS?

Jenkins no that stuff you're talking about remains on your phone (in a separate partition) back from when you obtained the phone from your carrier. It is really important (especially if you have Sprint) that you do not allow that customization to take place if you're using this ROM kitchen. Hard reset again, and this time, as soon as you see that 3 second prompt, do a soft reset--that will cancel it.

In the future you could also build a rom with the Unlock and Unhide extrom cab, which will reveal that hidden parition in file explorer so you can go and delete all the stuff that's in there (you no longer need it with these custom roms). That will prevent the "3 second" prompt from even appearing in the future.

I believe I have the unlock/unhide extrom cab, as I can see the \Extended_ROM2\ folder, and see all the cabs in there. So if I delete all the cabs now, then do a hard reset, the cabs will not return & I wont get the 3 sec prompt?

Also, should I be selecting the Sprint ExtROM in BuildOS?

thanks!

This did not fix my smart dial or arrows. I have an XV6700. Anyone else experiencing this? I installed both a calculator skin and keyboard skin. Anything else I should try? And it is "Enabled" with a "d" on mine.

Yes, but you need to unlock it first, which requires tapping the "Extrom Unlock" icon in Programs (you should get a "SUCCESS" dialog box). Then yeah, go in there and delete absolutely everything in there. After you do that you can use it to store stuff--its just under 10MB of extra space.

Well, for those that were wondering...
I did a hard reset and my CommManager was fine.
Then I tried the easy restore using Spb Backup and the corrupt CM came back.
So now I'm going to build a ROM with the .2 Kitchen and start from scratch- what the heck... if I have to reinstall everything anyway, right?
