did you put the phone into bootloader mode? (Press top power button and notes key at the same time then press the soft reset button with your stylus)

Yes, I did. I guess I'll give it another try and see if I get the same error.

Anyone else having problems with the remove programs list? I flashed to this rom and installed about 10 programs but only a few are showing up in the remove programs list.

Backlight Wierd

Phonexo6

Thanks for sharing this rom and radio update.

I am running both. Runs faster and better battery life I would say.

Best rom i have tried so far.

one weird problem my back light turns it self all the way down between on and offs

If I uncheck the auto turn off in 10, 20 30, 1min 2min

No problem

Don't want to hard reset till your next release

Cheers

Hey folks I'm extremely new to the whole custom roms on my phone thing, but I've attempted to flash a new one on my phone 6 times now and each time I gt the error 150 message. I've followed all the instructions, placed the phone into bootloader mode, but when I get the screen that says click to upgrade...it goes about its business, then a few seconds later I get error 150 saying it's an incompatible phone.

I've noticed this with just about every custom firmware I've tried. Last time I flashed, it was the sprint upgrade. (Device is a branded sprint ppc 6700 and last firmware upgrade was APA_SPCS_20600_303_12700_WWE_Ship via utstar's website)

Any insight into this issue would be extremely helpful.

What does your screen say when you put it in bootloader mode? (What version is the bootloader?)

It's a dark screen that reads "Serial", and at the bottom it reads "v2.02". When plugged into the usb cable "Serial" changes to "USB", and then I go through the process of flashing. The flashing app does the whole checking the device screen, and after it checks the device it continues on to the upgrade screen. I press upgrade, it waits a second or two, then displays the error.

Dunno if this is helpful or not, but I'm running vista ultimate, the new mobile sync stuff, and using the original usb cable that came with the phone.

You need to flash from XP. Vista won't work.

Ah so that's been the culprit all along eh? Just curious, why does the carrier upgrades work with vista, but custom roms won't?

Anywho thanks for your help, I'll try it later this evening on an xp machine and cross my fingers. Again, thanks for the help!
