Yup, It's that easy. The Apache is not locked so no need for any unlockers. The kitchen is pretty easy, just click on what you want and press play. I highly recommend starting out with minimal selections and getting used to it before adding more. Read up in the Apache section, there's a lot of info there and GaMedic's tutorials are must-reads as they will answer almost all questions. The 6700 is a fine device and with the kitchen you can really turn it into a pocket powerhouse!

Re: help with upgrading please

You probably will need to get rid of it. Probably won't harm your PPC, but you never can be careful enough. It might hide in your 6700 and reinfect your PC. You can clear it from your 6700 with a hard reset (hold both softkeys and reset and follow the prompts) but clearing it fom your PC is critical as it might spooge the ROM upgrade.

Re: help with upgrading please

I use PCTools Spyware Doctor. Its a pay program but it does the job. It combines antivirus, Spyware etc into one program.

Re: help with upgrading please

Here are a couple:
AVAST
http://anti-virus-solution.com/avast2/indexicc.asp
and
COMODO
http://www.comodo.com/products/free_products.html

So how do you know it is there? If a program detects it it should remove/quarantine it.
