help with upgrading please
 

im new to the apache i dont know jack about them all i have ever worked with is the wing and wizard. so could some one please give me a hand with my apache.
I would like to find the stock rom for it but i cant seem to do so

What carrier? Stock ROMs are in the Apache section of the FTP.

To get the bootloader version press power+notes and poke the reset. the screen will go black(backlight off) and in strong light it should say Serial and have a number at the bottom of the screen. The number is the bootloader.
FTP is accessed thru the Qlinks tab at the top of the page.

Holding both power and notes, poke the reset hole with the stylus.

oh ok thank you lol sorry i must not have help them down long enough or something lol i did it three times and i didnt work lol but it says that it is v1.04

now more questions for you since you've helped me out so much already lol

if i have a usb worm on my comp will it mess with the update or my in anyway

Also if i was to use a custom rom do i need to do anything to my phone first before i upgrade it

Good! now all you need is a ROM. I suggest the ppckitchen for cooking up your own ROM.
