Here's my first attempt at OEM's.

This is PB 5.2.06 with default theme. English only.
The first time I cooked it into my ROM there was no text but I think I fixed that by adding the registry entry for the location of the language file.

Give it a try. Worst case you'll just have to install PB overtop of it. It goes to the same folder. It shows up in the "Shareware" group in BuildOS

EDIT: Still no text on menus and buttons in PocketBreeze. Close but no cigar, I guess. It's a start anyway.

EDIT: I fixed a typo in initflashfiles.txt that was copying one of the skin files to 2 different names :P Also added HighDpiRes.dll which shouldn't be needed on Apache because it deletes the file after first run anyway, but whatever might fix this. Couple more reg entries found as well.

EDIT: I updated the attachment. 100% working. It's not enabled on the today screen by default, but you can enable it by changing ...

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items\PocketBreeze]
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
to 00000001 in the RGU file.

While I thought about doing this also, I stopped after realizing that I was going to have to reflash my phone every time an important update came out for either of these programs or just live with having the file in two places when that happened.
Since they both backup easily, I just reinstall them after a flash with the newest version.

Same here. Other people were interested in it and I was bored so there we go, hehe.

9/10 I just use OEM's for tweaks and my registered keys, etc. The latest versions of the apps I use are on my storage card and ready to be installed after a flash.

v4

This is still using 5.2.06
I changed this around a bit. I removed the HighDpiRes.dll again since it wasn't needed, and also kept everything in \Windows instead of copying it to program files. This cuts the space used in half.

It's now set to show on the today screen by default as well.

I'm going to start on PocketWeather now and I should have that done later tonight or tomorrow

Edit: I looked through PocketWeather but it would require copying ALL of the icons (426kb), and the citycodes (another 388kb) to seperate subfolders which is a lot of space used up for nothing really. Somebody let me know if they still want this and I'll finish it up for them.

Friggin sweet!! You da man!

I tried this but didn't have time to get it right. Kept locking my device on boot. Nice job.

SBSH is releasing 5.2.15 shortly, so I may fiddle around with your OEM and get it to work on that version after it comes out. Regardless, this is going in my next ROM.

Thanks!

From the changes I've read in the new version, it shouldn't be too bad to make it work. Just a matter of copying the new versions of the same files over.

Well, not so fast...

Ok. I got ambitious last night and cooked up a new ROM...

I tried installing your OEM. It installs okay, shows up on the Today screen, and seems to work okay, except... When I click on the Options button, it gives an error and won't open the options (PBSettings). Also, the shortcut in the Programs list for the Pocketbreeze settings didn't work (same error). I was able to fix the shortcut file and the initflashes.txt to fix the shortcut in the Programs list, but was not able to get the options button working. Also, the opening page in PBSettings has the settings text, but no icons(?). Strange. I even tried moving the PBSettings.exe to the normal install location through initflashes, but no joy... Does the Options button work on yours? What could I be doing wrong?

I also tried a build with the program files from 5.2.10 (my latest version), but it had the same problem.

PB 5.2.15 is a huge improvement. The biggest being that it will now adjust height automatically so that you never get those darn scrollbars on the side.
I don't think that's relevent to adjusting the OEM, I just thought you should know. If you aren't using it yet, I'd highly suggest trying it.
