XV6700 Release level
Now that my xv6700 is back and working fine, all this chatter about upgrading the OS got me looking. What I noticed at the UTStar site was a version for the SPRINT PPC6700 and one for the XV6700. I read with interest that release 1.13 for the Sprint PPC has some issues. Little has been said about the Verizon version.
Now, I don't know what my old XV had, but this one has 1.09. It is a bit different than the old one. I now have a louder ringer, a louder earpiece, and Voice Dialing. And on the UTStar site, there is a software upgrade for Verizon. No version is mentioned. Does anyone know what version UTStar is offering? Is it an upgrade from 1.09?
