Screen Alignment Issue after Hard Reset????

I have an alignment issue going on with my screen ever since I did a hard reset. I did the hard reset just because the phone was starting to slow down some and it was acting up a bit more... ((I have installed and un-installed various programs in the search for the perfect program list.))

Anyway... For some reason my screen alignment is off at the top of the screen. When it syncs up to the computer it isn't as bad...but when I put it off the cradle... the "dead space" at the top is larger...

Anyone else have something like this happen???

Thanks in advance.

no I have had alignment issues before, but nothing realigning didn't help. Have you tried recalibrating the screen?

By recalibrating the screen do you mean where you tap the crosses, like during setup???

If not... Then no... Could you walk me thru it?

Thanks a bunch.

do you have spb pocket plus installed? Because the dead space looks like the battery bar without the actual indicators.

I think your best bet is to get something like SPB Backup (you can use the trial for this) and do a single backup.

Then do a hard-reset.

Run it "fresh" for a couple of hours and see if the problem persists. If it does then you'll need to do an exchange.

If not, go ahead and run your spb backup .exe file (probably on your storage card) and reinstall everything (takes 5 minutes) and you'll be where you were before.

If the problem then immediately returns, you know that's it's something with your software setup that's causing it.

It must have been a program I had installed because I did another hard reset and the problem seems to be gone.

The only program that I didn't reinstall after this hard reset was Tomb Raider... But it didn't cause the problem originally... So I don't know. I am just glad it isn't doing it now.

Before I did my first hard reset Tomb Raider was installed on my phone and I didn't get the alignment issue. I didn't have time this weekend to reinstall it (had to go to our karate graduation), but plan on trying to today.
