Apache Wont upgrade..

Okay so i left the ppc scene and got myself a dare. i hate it and i want to go back to my apache. i looked online at ppckitchen.com and downloaded the installer and let it update adding the apache kitchens but when i make my selections and then go to flash the rom it brings up a screen saying what it will upgrade to and other fields unfortunatly all the fields are blank. theres nothing. and ive tried to flash before when it was like that and it just erases the rom that was previously on there and leaves it blank. im using vista and have turned off the usb connections thingy. I want to upgrade this thing on put on a lot of the new programs. please help!

Run the updater to see if the OEMs are there.

It's an RAR file. Watch my video on using 6.1 kitchen. Link is in my signature. It probably will help you.

Re: Apache Wont upgrade..

If you click on the updater, it will download the OEM files for you. That will save you for having to search for them and manually putting it into the folder yourself. If all of the fields are blank in the fields IE Carrier, Device and Version, then that is part of your problem. If that's the case you need to select whomever you carrier is and your device and the version you want it to go from from 1.01 to 2.xx or whatever it is now. IF you don't select apache when it attempts to install the image it will fail.
I would also enable active sync or in your case mobile device center, because if you don't have USB enabled it won't see your phone unless you have it in bootloader mode. Just enable the usb connection and once you've cooked your rom, you should be a go. IF you need anything else just holla.
