If you click on the updater, it will download the OEM files for you. That will save you for having to search for them and manually putting it into the folder yourself. If all of the fields are blank in the fields IE Carrier, Device and Version, then that is part of your problem. If that's the case you need to select whomever you carrier is and your device and the version you want it to go from from 1.01 to 2.xx or whatever it is now. IF you don't select apache when it attempts to install the image it will fail.
I would also enable active sync or in your case mobile device center, because if you don't have USB enabled it won't see your phone unless you have it in bootloader mode. Just enable the usb connection and once you've cooked your rom, you should be a go. IF you need anything else just holla.
