the thing is that ive done all that and when its ready to flash the rom to my phone in all the fields like device type or wutever and what its upgrading to. all those fields are blank. The "From" and "To" i dont know whats not working right.

If that's the case you need to select whomever you carrier is and your device and the version you want it to go from from 1.01 to 2.xx or whatever it is now. IF you don't select apache when it attempts to install the image it will fail.
I would also enable active sync or in your case mobile device center, because if you don't have USB enabled it won't see your phone unless you have it in bootloader mode. Just enable the usb connection and once you've cooked your rom, you should be a go. IF you need anything else just holla.
