Ok... One thing I'm finding is major battery drain when running the slider...
![]() Keep up the great work! (I really mean that, it's a damn spiffy locker) |

i like this program but, i can only load it from my sd card "so to just get my phone to lock with the slider, ihave to go all the way to my sd card", is there away to put the slider on my today screen and run it from there. Becuase that would be very nice.

Use cLaunch or iLauncher or something of the sort to launch it from your today screen.

I believe the timer suspends. I tested several times and each time I woke the phone up the time would change.
Now, whether or not there is a difference between the time being updated and the actual checking of the time, i'm not sure. Are you saying also that the slider keeps the phone from auto-suspending? Does anyone know what to look for (programmably) to check the current staus of the phone? |

Actually, I just ran some battery tests on the slide lock. It takes 250 mah battery to run the lock with backlight on. 210 to run with backlight off. 70 mah with no lock and backlight on. 45 with no lock and no backlight. It definitely sucks up battery.

I was actually referring to the suspend mode on the battery usage.. but I suppose while in suspend mode everything is suppose to be "suspended' besides the critical processes?
I was trying to to write a piece of code that looked at the backlight setting value and based on it delay the application. I'm just not sure if there is any difference in a timer counting a delay and the app running? The closest I got so far was the screen turning up bright white. So I suppose i interrupted the WM_paint? |

I'll try to document things a bit better. Now what about the issue that if you recieve a phone call while the slider is active, it's moved to the back ground and the phone is opened up. Only the ANSWER/IGNORE/end buttons should be unlocked. This way when you hang up either from the BT headset or from the end button, you can't accidentally redial during that time the phone is waiting to go back into suspend mode. (Any of that make sense?)
