Ok... One thing I'm finding is major battery drain when running the slider...
I'm suspecting that the slider is not suspending itself from watching the time when the unit is turned off. This seems to be confirmed on my xv6700 because if the unit comes on for what ever reason, it does not turn off (suspend itself) when the slide lock is active.
