Verzion

Go to verizonwireless and order for 9.99 three. They have a ball bearing in it that hold it in the 6700. Works like a champ. Free shipping too. Later.

Try putting a bit of "Bluetac" the sticky gum like stuff used to stick paper om walls on the tip of the stylus and push it in. The Bluetac stays behind when you pull it out and the stylus sticks to it every time. I did this close to a year ago and haven't had any problems since. everything else I tried such as tape wore off, and bending it seemed like a good way to break it.

I used this on my old 6700 and it was the first thing I did on my replacement 6700.

Yeah, it was a prototype before Sprint released it. Says Fusion in big black letters just below the screen. It's the red logo model. I had another red logo model (no Fusion) that I also lost lots of sylus's. The headphone jack broke and I got a yellow model which is fine. I tried bending the stylus with this one but it still slipped out. I think I'll try the blue tack method next.

Thanks for all the suggestions - Mark.

Bent styluses and nail polish. This has to be the most inventive group I've ever seen. I've bought 17 in 11 months. When I mentioned it to tech support they told me that I needed to get my hole tightened. I laughed and walked out.

Anybody tried using about a 1/2" piece of shrink tubing instead of the tape? I'd be afraid of the tape coming loose while inside the unit and then not being able to get it out....

I've been using the tape for a few months now with no problems, although the shrink tubing sounds interesting. Test it out and let us know!

When you say "bend the stylus" are you talking about the black part at the top of the stylus? I have tried that and it still fits rather loosley.

OK, I have tried the tape method, just couldn't get it to stay on, and didn't last long. The best solution I have found so far is...

Do this: Pickup a "Instant Krazy Glue Pen". Put a dab of glue on the backside of the stylus (the long side of it - the black part). Using the pen, push it down on piece of paper to get the glue going. You will also see how big the glob is when you push it out, you just do the same thing on the stylus. Then set it on the edge of a table so the glue is hanging upside down. You may need to put a small book or something on it so it doesn't roll. Once dry in a few mins, try putting it in. If it doesn't fit, simply use a nail file (like on fingernail clippers if you don't have a woman to borrow one from) and file it down till it fits.

This method has worked for me so far for 6 months!!
