Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now

I followed everything in the sticky but still stuck in bootloader. The 6700 is not recognized in either a Vista and XP OS via usb. The word serial is displayed.

Run the Uni_exitbootloader tool:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...exitbootloader)
The link is too long for the site so add the extra ) at the end in the address bar and the right webpage will come up.

Unhappy Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now

Hello Im new at flashing and unlocking my phone. I made a mistake and used this to try and unlock my phone but my phone is the xv6700 and I think that when I used it that I messed my phone up (MY MISTAKE) now my phone stays in boot loader mode even after hard reset It went from bootloader 1.4 to 1.2.... I tryed to reinstall verizon bootloader but I kept getting a error saying that maybe my device was not conected or my phone wasn't on... I don't know how to fix this and I want to upgrade my phone to wm6.1 with tocuhflo2d could some one help or is it to late for my phone

See post #34 to get out of bootloader. You don't need to "unlock" an Apache to flash it. Yes, you will downgrade the bootloader if you followed these instructions. That's OK. Just get unstuck from bootloader and read/understand this tutorial before flashing:

I'm stuck in the bootloader as well with 2.05. Tried mtty, no luck, tried UNI_Exitbootloader, no luck. Tried hard resetting it 5 times, no luck. Tried soft resetting it 5 times, no luck. It's a VX6700, but I haven't been able to even flash the stock OEM rom. What should I do?

Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now

My phone has the 2.05 bootloader version but the ROM is "3.61.00 WWE" I want to downgrade the bootloader as well to 2.02 but would I use the same process as indicated in this thread, or would mine be different since I don't have the "Bell/Verizon 3.3 ROM"? Thanks.

There is no reason to downgrade Bootloaders. I have told people that time and time again... The only difference with the 2.05 is the ROM flashing captivity. But, if you are putting that many apps in there to fill up all the space then you more than likley will have a very trashy ROM...

You can't chage out the 1.xx series with the 2.xx series You don't need to change it. 1.00 is the best bootloader.
