Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now
I did this last month on a device I upgraded to current aku from starcom. Whoops! took the boot loader to 2.05.
The kitchens wouldn't run on this bootloader on my 6700. I was able to get through the google caches and find the bootloader fix instructions but it only set me to a NOID_RUU. Is there anyway to revert it back to the proper RUU? Did I miss something in the docs? I can't upgrade the radio because there isn't a NOID_Radio firmware update... argh... darn things! |

Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now
Please help. I followed your instructions and it gets through the updating radio portion, then it wants to update the extended ROM, at 1% it stops and gives me an error code 113. This has happened all four times I have retried. What can be causing this?

Re: Stuck in new Bootloader 2.04/2.05 from the bell/VZW 3.3 ROM, Help is here now
I have a question about step 14 -
14. copy nk.nbf, radio.nbf and ms_.nbf from your carriers stock rom and place in No_ID folder. I don't have a stock rom. I just found out about this kitchen stuff (awesome btw) and decided to give it a try. I just got a new 6700 replacement and I realized it has 2.05 bootloader. Is there a place I can get those files? The original link below is not working. http://www.utstar.com/pcd/uts_downloads.aspx I have a ppc xv6700 verizon and would love to have WM6.1 on it. thanks! You can download an older ROM from this site, and they are in there. (I'd attach, but they are large files).

Okay... Found the solution. Google the file "UNI_ExitBootloader". I found it at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Instructions%20for%20those%20st uck%20on%20Boot%20Screen%20(UNI_exitbootloader). This program solved the problem. Back and running!

I'm getting that error as well. I wonder if there's an issue with the extended rom being loaded.
*edit - It decided to like the extended rom after the 6th try and third download.* Last edited by 00mhenle; 09-11-2008 at 12:21 AM. |

I'm having similar problems - reverted to BL 2.02 without a problem, but i'm getting Error 100: when trying to load the stock ROM and Error 150 when trying to load a cooked ROM. This happens no matter which RUU I use.

I was having the same prob and when I tried on another computer it worked. Though you might've resolved, someone still might be stuck.
