hmm
Well I just cant figure out what my problem is.
Im using the Belkin bluetooth stack that came wDUNith the bluetooth adapter. I have paired and gotten BDUN working in AUK 2.2 but since 3.5 well untill now I have never tried. Now after installing the fix I can get it paired, connected, and internet sharing says its connected, but i cannot get the web itself to work even though it says its connected to the Access Point. Anyone have any idea what it might be? I was thinking it might be something to do with connection settings within the phone iteslff but it does dial up and everything in the internet connection sharing, something between Vista and the Phone doesnt see it on the net. The USB connection works great though and i am using that at the moment. Out at a lake with power but no net. |

great job! thanks!
I'm running Kirvin's 3.5 ROM and using Toshiba R100 laptop with Dlink DBT-120 usb bluetooth dongle. I installed the drivers from the CD and it looks like it installed Toshiba bluetooth stack on my laptop BT utility the only service that shows up for my phone is Network Access Point on my phone the service shows up as Serial Port and Wireless Stereo (I only selected Serial Port) after pairing the two, I ran the Internet Sharing app and selected Bluetooth PAN and hit connect. I have to select to connect to my phone from the laptop and then it connects I'm browsing this site now connected through BT PAN |

I'm having some serious issues with speed while connected through BT PAN.
Speed tests give 400kbps down/100kbps up with 3 bars through usb and give 100kbps/100kbps via BT PAN. Both of these results are significantly less than when using the Wmodem program in 3.3. I would regularly see 750-800kbps down and 100-150kbps up. Anyone know any reason for this? |

Yup works perfectly on my Macbook Pro after I installed the cab file at the top of this posting. Was connected and surfing in 12 seconds. Its beautiful!!!! This will kick @$$ in the car when I can leave my phone plugged into the charger. Kinda sad my powerhungry laptop gets better battery life then my phone

I am having the same problem. I am using the Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba Version 4.00.20. I am able to connect and the Bluetooth Internet Sharing connection shows that I am connected. My laptops IPCONFIG shows a default windows IP. I had it working once before then I went back to the Microsoft Bluetooth for other reasons. Now that I am back to Toshiba it doesn't work. Is there a detailed step by step procedure? Can someone using the same stack tell me how yours connects? What ip address does your IPCONFIG return?

Disregard the last post. It is now working. The last thing I did was unchecked the "Allow other network users to connect through this computers Internet connection". I doubt this was the fix but it does work.
