how'd u get them to upgrade you? i just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get them to upgrade my phone and they told me 'our policy is to only replace it with a refurb of the same model' and i go 'if i keep having problems with this phone, i don't want the same phone back.. i want a different one' 'well sorry sir our policy doesn't allow for that'

One, I had the extended warranty. I think that helps. Two, I went through two bad refurbs before they finally replaced it. And both refurbs had real problems that could be demonstrated to the tech at the store. When I found the second refurb was bad, I didn't take it back to the store, then I called customer service.
Also, I acted like what I really wanted was a brand new 6700 (which I would have been happy with). I didn't go in trying to get an upgrade... |

yeah i called asking for just a new 6700 and they told me i'd have to pay retail for it.
this will be my 2nd refurb as well. and i know how to duplicate the problem. so something tells me this refurb will be crap too ![]() |
