Hold down both the buttons with dashes on them, the ones outside the Windows and Okay buttons, and then press reset. This is how to hard reset your phone.

Sorry - I was just trying to be funny (but failing). I'm going to reset mine back to base and try yours one more time - maybe it was something to do with my environment. Who is your provider?

Thanks for this ROM. Seems to be working fine on my phone.

I tried again - it got stuck again - so I did a hard reset after the flash and it seems to be booting in 3.5 now.

I don't know squat about cooking my own rom so I appreciate everyone who keeps making these things. I'm tempted to learn just so I can make one with a few standards that I want to see if I can shove into the rom so it doesn't use my precious memory for apps I load afterwards.

Sfauer and others fixed the live search/contact error over the weekend.

Your phone has 2 soft buttons - left and right. The ones with '-' on them.

Near as I can tell, you always need to hard reset after a flash. Soft resetting won't work.

Kirv, I'm new to all of this.

Would you or anyone for that matter, please tell me what this rom consists of.

Currently I'm using Helmi's 3.5
