Stock AKU 3.5 for any Apache

Jeff,

Are there any programs that won't work with the 3.5? I tried O2+ and it loads but won't run. Has anyone else had that problem?

I really like this one, but I wonder why you left some of the "junk" in? Can I open the extended rom and remove some of it?

I haven't noticed any incompatibilities. As for the junk, I posted a different ROM if you want a slimmed down build. This "stock" build has nothing removed.

What file are people using for O2+ that works on the 3.5? Other than the fact that it loads and then complains rather than print the Today screen this seems to be a great build. Everything else I have tried so far seems to work fine.

Yes, I noticed that there is another rom, the only problem for me is that you took out cyberon, which I use.

the cell line internet does not work w/ this rom. I keep on getting no network errors when tryin to use internet funtions, tried setting up new connection w/ using the dialing #777 but it will not work I Like the no Junk rom, but want the Msn features of this rom, any ideas? is there a cab or something for the Msn options? or can I cook my own & input the Msn options

Cell line internet does work with this ROM. I'm on Verizon and I've been using it for several days now. If you're on Sprint, do you need to install some of the ExtROM cabs to make the internet work properly? If you're on Verizon, check your dialing and userID/password settings. Did you hard reset after flashing?

Posts that say "the XYZ doesn't work" end up creating confusion, where other people say "I read somewhere that XYZ doesn't work..." and it goes on forever between this and pdaphonehome.com forums. If you post your issue as a question and then post the solution when you find it (or if someone else posts it for you) at least it may help others who encounter the same problem later.

I went from the the Kirvin no Junk rom, which I liked, but it didn't have the Msn stuff which I NEED, to this stock rom, I had probs connecting to the internet w/ this rom, in the Phone options, there is no services for internet, but there is in the no junk rom, I like the no junk rom,it works great!! but want the Msn features of the stock rom, any ideas?? Basiclly I want the no Junk rom w/ the Msn features, or the stock rom w/ the internet services in the phone options. HELP !!
