Lastly, this ROM is still updateable, just not by me. I've uploaded the kitchen to the FTP site, so anyone can make derivatives of it.
I've lost my MMS in messaging all I have is Outlook E mail & Text. Has anybody else having this problem? I have Verizon.
If you have Verizon, I don't think this Sprint Rom is for you?

Modem Problem

I can't connect to the internet through my cell line after installed Clean and Simple 3.5

Anytime I launch IE, I see it try to connect three times and then it says "No modem at above number, TO check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings"

So I go into settings and in short im stuck...

Is this common with Clean and Simple? Is there a different method of connecting through the cell line that I should be using?

Please help...I dont have much ppc cash but whoever can solve this can have it all..

Thanks A Lot

I’m not using the sprint version. I’m using the generic version that Jeff came out with right after. The Sprint one.

Hey Jeff,
Any chance you could post the kitchen for the Sprint version as well? I only see the generic one on the site.

Thanks.

Given that it takes a couple hours to upload over EVDO, I'd rather not. The only differences between the two are the addition of the Sprint settings OEM module from the FTP site and the inclusion of a blank ms.nbf file to clear out your ExtROM that I stole from the Colonel.

I was also wondering how to reassign the soft keys, although since I can get to contacts on the phone screen, I have less of a need to reassign the soft keys on the today screen. The assignment of one of them to Running Programs is rather handy as my SPB Pocket Plus does not seem to be closing programs properly.

I was finally able to modify the permanent start menu drop down choices (calendar, contacts, Win Media Player, etc.) by going to the Start Menu folder and deleting the .Ink files. It would not let me un-check them in the Settings - Menus dialog.

Does anyone know how to assign a button to the asterisk (*) key. I would like to try using the lock/unlock feature, but not if I have to use a stylus to press the unlock icon, or open the keypad to tap the asterisk key.

I prefer that you dont upload the customized version. that way I can learn how to do this on my own. but how do I create the sprint one? I see two sprint settings OEM's.

Do I use both? or just one?

also, would i need to add the .net 2.0 and crossbow themes ?

It is a registry setting discussed multiple times earlier in this thread.

The one I use is called SprintExtOEMwClearVMail.

.Net 2 and Crossbow are included in the kitchen as is.
