I noticed this too, It is skinner then in his previous 3.5, But that can be changed with some simple registry edits, Which I remember seeing in the Registry Tweaks section of this site...
And yes, it's deliberate, more space for actual data. The top and bottom bars take up enough precious screen real estate as it is.

OMG, OMG, OMG, so simple, and fast and the space; I didn't do anything fancy, just did the same things I did before (unlock ext-rom, run the next unlocker program, soft reset) and then install all the programs I had stored on the storage card to the Ext-Rom, and I have 30.84 storage left!!
Thanks Jeff, we all have been waiting for so long, and it has been worth it!
LOL, I'm glad you like it.

Jeff,
Do you know if all the bugs are worked out? I seem to remember some issues with tethering, MMS mail issues, etc.

MMS is still hit or miss, tethering works fine. I've posted the generic kitchen on the FTP site if other people want to continue work on it, but I'm running Vista now and can't run CreateOS.exe anymore.

*has a heart attack every time he hears that horrible word "Vista"*

Why anyone would subject themselves to that nonsense is beyond me. :P

In any case, I'm a huge fan of this ROM. Sucks there won't be any updates now. Thank you for giving it to us though!

Ok, this might sound like a stupid question but..........

What is MMS mail? I created an email account to send and receive email to my sprint pcs account. I need this to be functional, so before I upgrade I wanted to make sure this will work. Is sending and receiving email from a POP account MMS mail?

Thanks in advanced.

MMS is picure mail, more SMS with jpgs than actual email. Nothing to do with POP3.

As for why I'm running Vista, I make my living supporting PCs and I have to be failiar with it. And apart from it not running CreateOS.exe, it has a lot of advantages over XP. I rather like it.

Lastly, this ROM is still updateable, just not by me. I've uploaded the kitchen to the FTP site, so anyone can make derivatives of it.

Yeah I'm just giving you shit on the Vista side.

I personally linux and do anything I need to do through an XP virtual machine under VirtualBox. Works extremely well though sometimes I have to use VMWare for better USB support.

Does anyone have problems sending files through bluetooth? I was trying to send a file to a T-Moblile Dash and we were able to pair the devices but not send files, while pairing in the services screen there were no services between my phone and the Dash. I havent tried with another phone, but does this happen to anyone else?
