thank god i found this. i don't want to get yet another 6700 from sprint but my d-pad isn't working correctly right now. no matter how carefully i use it, i always get a click (i.e. it doesn't have any resistance to clicking it).

Be careful!

Be careful reassembling the housing!!!

The instructions are perfect & helped me replace the screen on my extra xv6700. BUT, I got goofy when putting it back together and broke the little piece that allows the side volume slider to engage the board. I couldn't find it anywhere & couldn't rig it up to work without it. Heck, I don't even know what it looks like. I just know I broke it going too fast! LOL!

Nonetheless, it works perfectly, except for the slider. I just mapped the side buttons to control the volume. Not perfect, but gets the job done.

Good luck!

What size torque screwdriver do you need to remove those 2 small screws that's under the battery?

Now ya tell me

This is AWESOME Thanks.

My power port broke off inside mine. I had to buy one with a broken screen on ebay and combine with mine to get 1 good unit

Next time at least I'll have a guide
