Did you have the vibrate hack installed? If so, then basically we are doing the same.. I'm having to create the sound string and the vibrate hack installed it for you.

By the way, you can get different voices from http://www.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php

After I downloaded them from att I trimmed the beginning and ends silence off, amplified and increased speed 2.46x4 times with audacity.

Did I upset you? Since you are good with the system sounds maybe you can help me with my start up splash screen sound it disappeared a while back don't know why. Now I just got the crossbow sounds installed but don't know how to get the splash sreen sound to work. Again THANKS, BOO

Definately not. I was just curious how you had a string value for sound already in your registry under the dtmf's. The default is a dword.

Are you referring to the phone_on ?

If so the reg location should be hcu\controlpanel\phoneextendfunction\cdma\flightmo deonoff\

make sure sound_on points to your desired wav

Sorry should have been clearer. When you soft reset when the windows splash screen loads there should be a sound but I don't have it.

I believe the phone_on is the boot sound.. I'm just not sure if the registry i posted earlier is for the boot and flightmode or just flightmode. Phone_on is definately my original boot sound though.
