you need to rename or delete the dword sound (i renamed it to sound.bak)

Then make a new string value named sound with a value of \windows\0.wav

This would be an example for the 0 button located in Dtmf0

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\Dtmf0]
"sound"="\\windows\\0.wav"
"Script"="p"
"Sound.bak"=dword:00000000

speak numbers

Copy the entire folder "speak numbers" to your windows directory of your ppc.

Import the registry speak numbers reg.

I don't have an "uninstall". To go back to the normal "beep" just delete the sound string in each dtmf and rename the dword sound.bak to sound. Or make an original back up of the dtmf reg keys and import if you want to change back.

I don't make use of the * or #.

I increased the volume slightly and shortened the length of the wav so you wouldn't have to hold the number pad as long. (You may want to change your keypad tones to long in the options of the phone menu to prevent dialing a speedial. = disregard this) Have fun.

Andason Thanks for the help. I finally got it to work! But you have to hold the key down for a full second to hear it. I wish it was faster. Have you made any headway with making this work (faster)? Again THanks, BOO EDIT: You have to hold it for so long to hear it that it actually dials my speeddial. Can't have that!
