Colonel, I installed the ROM a few days ago and it's been a charm so far. I am running a Sprint PPC6700.

I was trying to have my mail attachments saved to my storage card and when I went into Messaging -> menu -> tools -> options -> storage and checked the "store attachments on storage card", I noticed that the space displayed was for the EXT_ROM2 space, not my storage card. The only way I was able to get it to put the attachments on the storage card was to hide the EXT_ROM2 space which I couldn't use to install apps on anymore. Is there a tweak you know of to get around that?

I was also having a noticeable delay when moving from menu to menu which got better when I took the O2 app out of my windows startup folder. I checked the O2 registry for the tweak mentioned above and everything checked out. While I love the functionality it gives us, I'm not so sure about the performance hit. Have you seen this?

BTW, loved the default today screen...

colonel I have a few config files that setup my wifi, vpn connections and such and they need to be run during the customize phase but so I added the files to the Boot folder but nothing gets applied. If I add the files to the extended rom using the shipped rom and edit the config.txt for those files the settings get applied, and ideas?

when you added to the boot folder, did you edit the config.txt? I am still working out issues with this.

As far as lag with O2, I have noticed a little when coming out of a reset.

Is this ROM newer than the clean and simple 3.5 I just installed?
