I was having consistant lock-ups until I unchecked the today screen time-out, now i no longer have cradled lock-ups.

One issue I have noticed is, occasionally after turning on the phone from sleep, I get the busy rainbow for a few seconds and the phone shuts off again. This seems to be happening when PIE is left open when the phone shuts off automatically.

Also, I still have BT skipping through a stereo headet. This is with all music and media players, too. And the skipping never stops. Didn't see a fix when I did a forum search. Any ideas?

The only thing that is testable right now is to see if the 6 hour thing is accurate. If it is, then perhaps there is setting somewhere. I have only had one overnight freeze. Last night it sat for a good 10-11 hours and didn't freeze. Of course, I do have push mail running and this may be keeping it "active".

then

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...t=a2dp+improve

but the second one is putting some settings in AD2P instead of A2DP
I use Resco to copy these over after I've paired my BT headsets.
I run these after Colonel's ROM each time and I get good flow of 168 kbps through my Oakley O-Rokr's. It does take them a few seconds to queue the first tune but after that it's solid.

I can't get these tweaks in the second post to work with the newer DLL's in Colonel's ROM but the backport to the older ones have no effect on things for me.

anybody having problems with stero music over bluetooth stereo headphones such as plantronics p590.
Music only comes from one speeaker. when i goto to the properties for this device under the bluetooth settings and disable stero headphones and then reanable them the stero icon at the top of the today screen displays but plays no music at all, no matter what buttons I press on the headset or phone.

Colonel,
Apologies in advance if this has already been documented - the last I remember reading is that XM Streaming isn't working with the 3.X ROMS.

I can report complete success with XM using your 3.5 and XStreamXM Mobile via Opera Mini (which in turn uses the Intent Java Midlet Manager).

Works perfectly, although there are a few Yes/No screens you have to cycle through with Opera Mini that you don't with PIE.

I'm pretty sure this would work with the 3.3 ROMs as well.

magic button only looks right with certain skins. It is pretty rock solid functionality-wise though.

The smartskey closes apps and does have an exclusion list. That is still included in the rom. Right soft key closes, ok minimizes. To edit smartskey, copy smartskey.ini from \windows and paste on your desktop. open with notepad. read through it, its self explanatory.
