You may want to try just running the rom defaults and your sync'd data for a bit and see if it may be 3rd party.

Anyone else seeing DSODs?

Guess, I am the only one with more DSoDs then... I do remember having the same 3rd party apps on the previous builds that didn't give me many DSoDs, like NetFront, iSilo, Pocket XPDF, Resco Audio Recorder and SPB Time... but now that I think of it, I'm not sure if I had NewsBreak (RSS reader) installed then. If it's any 3rd party app, it might be that one. As it does have a Today plugin that tells me how many new headlines are available and every once in a while it loses the channel data because it says my SD card is missing when it ain't...

I'll try disabling that Today plugin first and then moving it all to Memory and see if that gets rid of them, and if not getting rid of it altogether, to see if that app is the culprit.... I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing with this ROM first... Thanks for the suggestion.

iamred: I experimented with that key earlier and did have that in one earlier rom. Problems I and others ran into was that the skipping also occured without bluetooth as the standard speaker playback would now also have read issues so I defaulted the values back. Let me know if your not seeing it and maybe I can get a second look at it now with all these other changes in effect.

Anyone else try this change and not see skipping in WMP with the built in speaker (not BT)?

saridnour - changing the keys that red suggested didn't help in the least. Actually made it a good bit worse, both on speaker and headset. My BT connection headset (ht820) would play for a few seconds and then give out.

Btw- Nice new picture. Interesting idea, an avatar of an avatar.

Maybe for your next release you could use it as the boot screen.

I'm changing my sig line as of right now...

FYI, new PR5 going to be ready soon. Waiting for Wisbar to get updated hopefuly by the end of week or Monday acording to the author. This should fix the "x" not being responsive. Other changes include:

- Smartdialer working
- ## codes now from main dialer
- voice record button mapping now availavble (select record in mapping)
- All sp1 changes
- Cleaned up app links in start menu, should all be there now.
- Removal of extra files from rom (sim*.*, dwx*.*, graphincs, old links, sounds, etc about 1.06 meg in total)
- Removal of phonecode app (since dialer can now enter codes)
- added bejeweled game (Trial, tentative)
- added field trial app (required for ## codes)
- May add other app but need to see if I can distribute it so lets call it X for now, may leave out as localized for seattle only.
- Removal of spb imageer (tentative).
- Minor tweaks like map default linking, Cleartpe in reg, etc

Still looking at issues:
- not able to bring up notes from dialer
- .net cf2 sp2 (thinking this is not going to be in as it really is optional and could effect speed)
- BT PAN (as is everyone, no leads but if a fix is found)

BTW, this will be the same rom base, not recooked so the stablity and speed will be retained. I know the new kitchen has the ## back in it, but this was not rom that code base.

Let me know if you have any confirmed bugs or tweaks that are not on this list that you want to see added or I should address before release.

Raging Idiot: I always loved the BuddyChrist as an avatar (from th movie Dogma if you missed it). Origianly I was going to do it as the boot with a "you've been vleesed with AKU 3.5" or something but never could get it to look the way I wanted as it was too busy and just stuck with the Intel-idiot idea as that was also fitting for the risk of bricking our ohones. I started to change my avatar to the intel log then found buddy and went that route for now

Raging Idiot: Probably not an sp2. I have a lot of rom changes going on and this would take up a lot of storage space if copied over the rom. I'll see what I can do come release time, but I would really just recomend running the latest rom as you will be on par with what I and most are running as to troubleshooting. All the sp or oatches are stacking bits on top of the rom and not actualy changing it so where they work great for small updates and registry changes, it does not work well when the core needs an update for the most part.

Total Commander 2.5 http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=11025

Audible Player

Also, would like Calendar option on bottom left of screen to instead be Flashlight. I did this long ago - but just as soon forgot.

While I'm being greedy, might as well cast my vote to get back XCPUScalar.
Oddly enough, without it my bt stereo doesn't seem to respond.

AKU 3.5

I have done the AKU 3.5 and two things I need clarification on:

1) I no longer can do Send/Receive from the messaging screens as before.

2) How can I get my speed dial button on the main dialing skin

Raging Idiot: I'll look at then new TC, but if it's still beta I will probably stay with the released version as I do not want to cause issues with a beta bug that I think is a bug in my rom. The calander remapped to flashlight can be done with a reg edit (I think a cab is on here to do it) and will not be what most will want so I'll leave that as somehting you guys can do yourself. Xcpuscalar is still in the rom, just open it and select to have it load at startup and you right back to where it was.

veroi: send receive with pop3 or imap? I use direct push so I have not seen this. What happens whenyou hit send/receive? I am assuming this is with pOutlook? Still recomend everyone look at flexmail as it kills outlook As to the speed dial, there is a hack that will add it, look in the files section. Let me know if you can't find it.
