jbonilla: The core issue with autocomplete is the dll I listed above. I still have VJcandelite in my roms since the 3.3 days. That was not the issue but could have introduced somthing else if you were getting bad rgu data from the oem. Glad to hear you have it working now

Raging Idiot: when I talk about my roms, I am usually refrreing to them as they are "out of th box". That being said a tap and hold on the start button (onscreen) will go right back to the today screen. Now if you add anything or make changes to the rom you could have it launch anything you want or make it bomb (click and hold the "x" to access wisbar's setup and re-map, move or disable almost any feature). Remeber a hard reset will take you right back to the begining to get past any FUBAR . 3rd part stuff does a lot to the base OEM and can introduce a lot of issue. I really feel now for the carriers/OEM's in this regaurd but what it comes down to is that all of our hardware is identicle. Unless there is a hardware issue they should all work the same. Radio Roms and provisioning could make some differences but should have little impact on the core OS. If you just load the rom and follow the setup instructions you should be at the same base as everyone else and have the same things working or bugs. As soon as you load one cab your mileage may vary In my ROMS, speed is #1 right next to stability, then its making the functions I want to work, then others functions users find. I try not to let one interfear with the other so thats just the pecking order. If done right we should get speed and stability in one, at least that is my goal. All of my PR roms (Public Release) are nearly the same as my R releases. the onlt difference being reg apps out (or apps I can not distribute from work) and trial apps as well as stripping my personal info from the users hive. Other than that they are nearly the same so I am in the same boat with you all as to what is working and what is not. I really do not plan to make a different ROM past this base (no lits or kitchens) as I barely have time for them and why I did not jump on the unified project as fun as that sounded. I will get the next pr out as soon as the author of wisbar gets his next release completed. He is making adjustments for wm6 and should addres some AKU 3.5 issues as well (like the x not closing wich he is fixing suposedly). He stated this week for the new release so I am in holding mode for that. If it takes too long, I may release pr5 then pr6 with these last changes and the new wisbar. Just trying to make it easier for all of you. Besides the more testing I do the fewer sp changes will be needed.

jdelgado89: I did not upload any smartdialer files. Only things I have uploaded are the roms and sp cabs. Not sure where your seeing that file at. Sorry I can not assist. The changes will be in the next pr as a sp will be adding a number of files to the storage, unless people dont care and need it as an upgrade path.

num1willis: Your stuck in bootloader mode. There is a thread on that just do a quick search for it. It is not rom specific and should be resolved easily...

Ahh..Thanks for the clarification on which "start button" you were first referring.

Yes that does work for me as well.

My ROM isn't exactly FUBAR just yet, but I did want to make it clear that after a mass of changes that my results will now likely be different, or rather difficult to compare against your exact out-of-box ROM. If only everyone was so clear as to state this type of fact when giving such exclamations of "mine doesn't do that".

Glad to see that your number one is speed, and that your number one is stability, and then making the functions work. lol

Guess I'm going to have to go Rage on the Wisbar guy to see what the holdup is. After-all it is a pay to play app isn't it.

At least your ROM is free, right... You're not going to charge us to "upgrade" at the last version release now are you??

As freeware/hackware, we have no license to complain....

This is a sweet rom. I can't seem to get online with VZW through PIE though. I keep just getting the can't connect message. I have no idea what setting are supposed to be there. Any ideas? Everything else looks great! Thanks.

num1willis: BT DUN is an issue with 3.5 as far as I have read it is not functional yet. Also DUN was replaced with internet sharing. There are a number of threads on it just di a search with those terms. Smartdial is the other feature that complete the numbers when dialing. This will be fixed in the next release.

fadywwf316: I have no issues with my battery. I use push mail and stream BT audio all the time. Are you running any other 3rd party apps? Are you usning xcpuscalar? I actusaly noticed an improvment in my battery after running 3.3+ roms. Anyone else seeing an issue?

I actually put on xcpuscaler today just to slow down the cpu and see if i can get better battery life but before i knew it i was down to 40%. Very odd, i'll play around a couple more days and see if the battery is still usable before I temporarily revert to another rom, i just hate to stop using this rom since i love it but since i work and am away from a charging source for a good 12-14 hours a day i depend heavily on battery life. Let me know if you get anywhere with this issue, thanks and ill see if theres anything i can do to mitigate it for now.

saridnour,
How about a release without the wisebar update? It seems to work fine for me but I have screwed my phone radio settings trying to get smartdialling to work and need to do a hardR. Your rom is the best I have tried so far. While I am anxious to try the new kitchen, I like yours best (so far), just really need the smartdialling, what with nearly 500 contacts and all even VC gets challenging sometimes.

p.s. no offence to the wicked cool dev team, but I do wish you had the time to be part of that, I think you would be able to offer the team some good...

fadywwf316: Xcpuscalar has a tendency to use more power thenit saves you when underclocked. That's why I asked about it. I learned the hard way too. Just make sure to set your screen timeoute as low as possible as well as the keyboard backlights. Also cutting down your net connections will help as well. My battery used to get hit hard when I worked in a building that had poor reception this too can be a factor. At first I thought my battery was giving out, then noticed it was alwys looking for service. You may know all of these, just tossing them out as a possiblity to the problem as I really am not seeing a hit in battery. Still odd why you are seeing it. You might want to try and see if doing a hard reset and just loading your contacts, etc (no 3rd party) has the same battery hit. It could be some other app pulling addtional power, ut could also be a combo of another app and this rom....???

nuguy: I will give the dev a couple more days then Ill get a release out. I did not pack up the pr5 (just an r5) so I would need to do a bit to get it out to you guys anyway. Just didn't want to have to do it twice this week . In the mean time, just sync your data and hard reset. If you can get by without your 3rd part apps for a couple days. I shold have the rom out the day wisbar is out.
