3. In .NET 3.0 (Window Vista), you will get an error saying LOC/packages.sof is corrupted if u attempted to run CreateOS.exe. I got the EXE disambled and currently looking at the .NET code behind it.
Also in your tutorial I'm lost at step 2. You said that I have it extracted at that point and have the cab file...

What cab file? If I did the other steps thus far there wouldn't be any cab file that I see.

What do you mean?

@nobrakes

Use this prj file that I have to encode the nk.fat. Rename your nk.nba to nk.fat.

Edit: You need to change the paths to your path. Don't forget to save the prj afterwards.

@Always

In step 2, I meant if you have an EXE that is used to install thru activesync, you gotta to get the cab file out of it somehow. You can either a) right click on the EXE and see if it has the option to extract, if not then b) Install it and it'll be more likely to leave a cab file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\Your_Package\Some_Cab_file.cab. This cab file is what you need.

OK, download this file ftp://xda:mad:da@ftp.xda-developers.....3_Kitchen.rar and extract it somewhere different then your current working kitchen. Go to the "rom" folder of the new extracted location, copy that nk.nba from that rom folder to your current "rom" folder. Rerun.
