Cool...I'll give it a whirl.

And one more thing....do we change any reference in the registry from \\%installdir%\\ or \\%install%\\ etc etc to \\windows\\ when importing to our .rgu?

For the spash screen:

Once you've extracted the Kitchen:

cd ROM

there you will find a nk.nba file.
take THIS file, and go apply what ever splash screen you would to a rom you were going to burn on you're phone.

then copy that newly modified nba file back into that directory. That is all

My build environemnt uses different directory structure, really cause i'm too tired to type different directories.

I do the followint to do a build

.\CreateOS
.\CreateROM
Tools\HTC*.exe
cd flash
RomUp*.exe

cd ..

indeed i now have the whole deal in another batch file i put in there called "builder.cmd"

I will re-up my build environment later tonight.

This kitchen is great. after spending a few hours fiddling around, was able to flash my xv6700 with what I wanted. rock solid for the most part, had to reboot one time because the phone wouldn't hang up but haven't seen that since. power usage seems to be the same as the previous aku.

Thanks ImCokeMan for this update.

Can you tell us a little more on the needed mods that were done? Were all the patches that needed to be added (Pictures and Videos) to helmi_c 3.3 rom folded into this one? What about items like internet connection sharing, PAN fix and .NET2?

Edit: looks to have Internet Connection Share, .NET2 is not there and would need to be added if wanted.
