no keyboard for me either, soft or hard.

Tried the registry settings as well, but the cab didnt help.

Anyone get it to work from a non-working state (kbd)

fixed IP?

Do I need a fixed IP address for my desktop or server at work to use this effectively?

No, you can use a dynamic dns service such as www.dydns.org. then you use your selected Domain name to access you PC.

You can then ether set up you router (if you have one) or use a software tool, to update the ip address if it changes.

I run an exchange server on a dynamic IP without problems.

dex
CABs must be installed on the Device, not the SD card to work...
