Hey colonel, is it possible for me to stop the in close program, i think it conflicts with gs pocket magic which i actually use for closing programs. after i uninstalled gs pocket, my ppc started to run normally again. It just hung and I couldnt do anything. also what is going on with the shell error that forces the soft reset. I have your latest nk.nbf installed. i also wanted to ask is there an extended rom included in your nk file cos i deleted ms.nbf like requested, reflashed and didnt get any pic & vid hang like expected. I extracted from custom beta2 if that makes a difference.

Inclose should be running from a shortcut in \Windows\startup (IIRC). If you remove that and soft reset, it will no longer be running.

You might be able to kill InClose by removing the link in \Windows\Startup and reseting. Not sure though. Pic and vid is fixed. No ExtRom (ms.nbf) is included, but I have the Sprint and Verizon ones up on the ftp if people need. I actually haven't had any shell errors lately since getting rid of the HTC X button app. Then again, I have been flashing at least 10 times a day and not really "using" the phone. Let me know if you keep seeing it and what you are doing. I usually got it while exiting Settings.

Personally I have been using the HTC closer and have only maybe had 2 shell errors in about a week. I wonder what triggers them.

I like that Softkey app. Usually I can just edit the registry, but this is nice for people who are not comfortable with that.

Yup! I like it too cause it makes things much, much quicker. This way you don't have to keep responding to all the posts about complaints that they don't like the way you set up the softkeys(ie. flashlight).

When will tonight's be uploaded? Oh and the paging pool was lowered right? I think you said that.

Just created my own ms_.nbf file (ext rom) and I can give instructions on how to make one. Even though the instructions are in how to make your own custom rom. Removed it from the ftp folder cos Iguidance is not free software, and doesnt have a trial, also some of the software on there is not useful anymore. Always glad to help, if anyone needs any info or help.

This extended rom includes the following software as well as no sprint junk.
capture screen utility
check notifications
gsp pocket magic
iNav Iguidance (not useful if you dont have the software cos you need the maps)
mp4 audio codec (so you can listen to mp4 audio now)
20225 prl cab (still have to click on ppst.exe after the ppc is up and soft reset)
unhide ext rom cab
contact cab (allows you to select/deselect all contacts)
Everything shows up in remove programs, so you can delete what you dont want)

If you want any of these programs (apart from Iguidance ) PM me and I will upload it or make it avaialable.

you use check notifications to clear duplicate events and script errors. You can use it when it feels like your ppc is dragging ass, rather than resetting. (works for me always)
Gs pocket magic also has a X that really closes applications. also i use it instead of the start menu because it opens up programs and settings in break menu and you can scroll through.

The first one is gs pocket and the second is the start menu (old pics by the way)
