The Verizon ms.nbf is just the verizon ExtRom in a file that the installers can use. If the nk.nbf doesn't get up tonight, I will have an improved on tomorrow.

Ok, today, I've seem to ran into the problem of my PIE shutting down on it's own. I have my homepage set up as http://www.google.com/pda

As soon as Google loads up, PIE closes down. Not minimize, but shuts down.

It didn't lock up... but shut down.

Any ideas?
Mine was doing this too all of a sudden, but had been working fine before. A soft reset seems to have fixed it. Very strange though...

OK, I'll hold off until then. My beta 2 install seems to be freezing a lot so I was going to see if I could figure out the nbf install and not wait for an installer.

Quick question - is the verizon extended rom that is included in your 3.3 beta 2 installer an exact copy of the 2.2 extended rom? It seems to be more difficult to remove the junk from Verizon's extended rom, but there are a couple things I removed from my 2.2 install and if they're the same I can just use what I had before (since now I forget which ones can be removed!).

I think it is just a stock ExtRom. What is the junk that needs to be pulled out?

I posted InClose in this very thread a few days ago (Sunday I think). Look back a few pages and you should find it.

How\when is it freezing up? The more information you can give me, the better chance of fixing the problem. Are you getting shell errors?

I'm having the same problem as well. Very annoying, but not sure how to fix it. It almost seems as if the page doesn't finishing loading in my case, and it is trying to pull the sprint pcs regualr website in lieu of the WAP one.
