And thanks Colonel for all of the hard work. Downloaded your Beta 1, but will wait for Beta 2 now!
This shut program is ridiculous as it takes more effort to get to the ability to shut the phone down as well as all the other features than it does simply to stick the stylus in the bottom of the phone.

I say NAY on the Shut app.

To clarify some more on smartskey, it enables page scrolling in IE without breaking link scrolling. It's really useful when browsing this site on my PPC!

I second the suggestions for both pocketxpdf and vjlumosii.

I also use vjcandela (flashlight app) but I've heard "flashlight" mentioned in connection with your 3.3 rom (I haven't installed it yet--waiting on Beta2) so that may be redundant.

Thanks!

Yes, vjcandelalite is included as the flashlight. However, it is only the lite and not the full version. It is mapped to the left soft key, but not in the programs file. If I get to it I will put a link in the programs file for people who unmap it.

Colonel - I posted this in the 3.3 problems thread, but since you are the rising star right now, I figured that I would lob this your way and see if you could help me out!
I will try to get to it as I have time. Right now the rom includes O2+ which can do some of this, but not nearly as many options. I know a lot of people also use Phone Alarm. Let me get another beta out and then I will try to get this to work. If I forget, send me a PM to remind me.

Depends. Here is what I have added so far (I think) since the last release:
HTC Task Manager (X button app)
Null Keyboard
SIP Changer
Smartskey
Xpdf

Working on:
Some of the apps listed by Maxx134. Some are already in. Others may not be needed. Will probably do the battery bar and cleartemp. I already have a reset app, but it goes in the status bar at the bottom. I know some people don't like that very much. Where\How does the PSShut function?

It is just an onscreen soft reset and hardreset app- for the most part.

is there a way u can find out why O2 makes the phone lock up so much please?

I haven't had any lockups yet , but then again, I am flashing about 10 times a day and never really "using" the device yet. What exactly are you doing when it locks up? Why do you think it is O2 causing this?

Alright, I have Smartskey installed, but how do you configure it?

Okay, I guess you can't. Pretty slick little. Not sure why I never saw it before. Only thing I have noticed is that I used to be able to press the left soft key once to turn the flashlight on and again to turn it off. Now it turns on with the first tap and then off and on with the second tap. Not that big of a deal since the Flashlight times out anyway.

O2 is the only app that ever does this. as soon as i disabl it from the today screen all is perfect.

i used to have it on there when it first was available months ago and took it off the very next day due to lockups and super slowness.
