And another thing!

Also, I can't reassign the Notes button.

Did you install Voice Command 1.6? That's a known issue... no fix.

Nope, and I have no intention of installing VC. I can understand that a lot of people do use it, but I kinda wish we could get a variant of this ROM with no VC accomodations, if you get my drift.

As I understand it, the Messaging app scrolls down a bit automatically when opening an email to move stuff like the To: field up off the screen and leave more space for the actual message. You can always get to that info if you need it by paging up.

In Beta 3 of the Colonel's ROM, the messaging app scrolls too far and the first screen's worth of the email is off the screen. On each and every email I have to page up to read the top of the message.

How's that for obscure!

It's not as obscure as you might think! I remember reading about someone else having that same problem. I think that the culprit was the IE 4-way nav registry hack. Do you know if you implemented that (either by hand or via some hack)?

If you know how to modify your registry, look at this key and change the DWORD value to 0:

\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\
4-Way Nav = 0

It's already set to zero, but you're on the right track. I've also lost the ability to go from link to link with the d-pad. Any other suggestions?

Good call, though, Luv2Chill. I never realized that there was a link between pad scrolling in PIE and this outlook issue.

EVDO Problems with new ROM

Hi guys... I'm having a problem with data dropping dead after 10-15 mins of streaming music. I'm using the latest GSPlayer to stream some radio stations and after 10-15 minutes of streaming, the connection starts slowing dying to the point where all data on the phone comes to a halt. It does this on a lot of high bandwidth radio stations as well. If I close GSPlayer and go to PIE, it finds websites, but won't load them. Basically data stops competely. I had the AKU 2.2 rom before and it never did this, I would stream for hours and hours with no problems.

Is anyone else running into this problem?

Oh one more thing while I'm on the topic of problems... I have the Logitech Wireless Music system (Bluetooth) hooked up to my home stereo system and thought it might be cool to play music from my phone, through A2DP to the Logitech receiver. I got the phone paired with the reciever but I'm running into the problem where it works for about 5 secs and drops dead. While it is playing, it stutters a lot. This is probably related to the Bluetooth problems everyone is having and I wanted to know if there is some kind of work around in progress.

BTW I'm using Beta 3 of Colonel the Great's Rom.
