Colonel, will you consider looking at any of zoomie's additions?

Speed on last rom is impressive considering Net2 is in.

Side note, I cannot disable animated menus with the pc6700 program. I don't think with this program some other features work, like "contrast" as well, probably because of the 3.x build of this rom.

I am still impressed at the speeed of Opera with this rom. Great job so far :)
Edit: I forgot to tell you nullkeyboard not working on rom posted 2days ago. I am now testing which version works.

imkk, no idea on the email settings. Mine stay just fine with a reset.

Maxx, I am looking at some of zoomies additions. Some of the net stuff can be done with the Task Manager that is already in there I think. I had issues with wififofum in the past. I am looking at some of the other stuff. I was never able to get contrast to work (as of yet). Menu animations should already be disabled. Where are you seeing them?

Okay, I don't have VC 1.6 and I have zero interest in installing it. Without it, how do I make the BT Audio Gateway work properly? I'm getting the same "it works for 5 seconds then goes back to speaker" problem as everyone else. I love the improvements, but if I can't listen to audio over my H700 the whole thing's kinda academic.

What do you have running? Are you using the HTC X button app? If you are, disable it and see if that doesn't help.

Don't use the HTC X button app. I changed batteries and I think my stock battery might be on the fritz.

On another note...I noticed you haven't uploaded a new nk.nbf file in about a day. Starting to slip a little bit?

I am looking at it right now. What apps did you try to use to open the gateway?

I just installed BT Audio Today from trianglepowers.com (I think) and it is working fine. Just listened to 3 going on 4 songs.

jamesus, yeah, I wasted about 5 hours yesterday trying to get InClose to work properly. I couldn't even get the rom to boot a couple of times. The worst part of it was that it was a simple little error that I was overlooking and it actually took less that 20 seconds to fix. Anyway, should have another up tonight. Getting the Remote Desktop installed and trying to get it to work.

sweet! now i have to read your text about flashing the nk.nbf file!

All from Triangle Powers:

BT Audio Gateway CF2 edition and BT Audio Today both wouldn't keep the gateway open reliably. It would work for a few seconds, then pop back.

BT Audio Gateway CF1 edition, oddly, seems to work a lot better. It's kept the gateway open with WMP, but I haven't reinstalled Pocket Player or Audible yet.

But even that doesn't work as reliably as it did under AKU 2. Before, I just had to turn on the gateway and forget it. It worked across soft resets and everything. Now I have to re-enable it after every soft reset and make sure it stays running in the background.

Please help me disable the VC code in this ROM! I absolutely love it otherwise, and I'm thankful for all the Colonel's hard work.

There is no VC code in the rom. I really do not know why it works fine for me with a Plantronics 510. I wish I could help with this issue, but until I can reproduce the problem, it is hard for me to find a solution.

When you said it would survive soft resets, do you mean that after a reset the gateway would reopen? I have actually never had the work for me. I always have to reactivate whichever app I used to open the gateway.

Yeah, I could reboot, tap the MFB on my Moto H700 and the gateway would reopen without me having to touch the software. Maybe that was an "undocumented feature" in AKU 2...

I'll keep fighting with it and let you know what I find.
