After you flash you get a menu asking you which carrier you are, you pick your carrier and the phone customizes itself to that carrier.
Oh ok. Well I have my own custom ext. rom and don't want that fooled with so I will just have to flash only the Nk and then do as the readme says. Other than that is the rom pretty much the same?

Yes it appears wireless sync is gone. Why aren't you using activesync?
I'm mobile all day, and our office does not have an exchange server so I use Verizon's wireless sync to push my email to my phone, along with updating my calendar and contacts.

From what Im told, activesync needs to be docked to sync. When im out my tasks and calendar are changed and then updated to my phone at 15 min intervals.

ALWAYS FLASH BACK TO YOUR CARRIER'S OFFICIAL ROM BEFORE TAKING YOUR PHONE IN FOR SERVICE OF ANY KIND

wireless sync

I think I can finally add something to the board!

Verizon users can download wireless sync directly to their device at:

ota.wsync.com

I am having a difficult time getting it to sync automatically and consistently, but manually works like a champ.

Tinman, check this. Go to \Windows\CarrierCfg.txt and see if the proper cab(s) is listed in the Verizon section. I may have missed some or added too many to some of the carriers. This is by no means a final product, but I wanted to test it.

What would be really helpful is for some motivated people to help me condense the necessary cabs for each carrier. Right now the ExtRom is about 9.5MB. Most of this is due to redundant cabs that only do one reg edit.

Yes, just select none or uncheck the box. Please check the CarrierCfg.txt in \Windows and tell me if there is any junk on any of those lists.
