I've noticed this also. I'm only working with a 512mb card. I've resorted to reformatting my card. So far it's been working/showing up just fine. Hopefully this solves the problem.

Palm threaded sms app

Anyone given this a try with the newer rom 3.3

I havent had any luck but tried a bunch of different gateways.

As most of you know this app works for MMS fine with most GSM providers but the CDMA side is broken....

I thought it may be related to the higher rom versions and implementation of MMS on those roms.

Any one wanna take another crack at this issue?

Its probally hopeless but sure would be nice to get it going since this app simply rocks and so does this rom.

One nice thing is you certainly dont have to update the dll files on the palm app installation since its higher than a 2.3 ROM!

my pop3 survives resets also. On another note my sd hasn't disappeared or renamed at all yet (outlook is presently set to store attachments to the sd, however I'll know eventually if that issue presents itself).

Please help...possible problem! It isn't a showstopper, but it's definitely a problem for me...

Flawless install on a VZW XV6700. Enabled Smart Dialer and moved the files from the OEM folder. Re-synced with Outlook and reinstalled all apps.

Everything is great until it's turned off (suspended) with Wi-Fi enabled. This always causes a hang which requires a soft reset! Can anyone else confirm this?

I'll confirm that installing CF1 is all that's necessary to have both WinLive Search and Tweaks2K2 run properly.
And something nice- when WLS is installed, we no longer have to change the name in the StartMenu;Programs list. It lists by itself with the correct icon in the regular/root StartMenu.

Installed, this is fantastic after the few minor fixes that were already posted in the first thread.

Just to solidify the other comments, .NET CF2SP1 installation fixed the issues with some applications that wouldn't run, particularly WLS and SiriusWM5 for me.

I couldn't manage to rename the required DLLs using Total Commander and just used Resco Explorer to overwrite them sucessfully and now my P&V works fine.

Rest assured, those of you who hate the Telecom startup logo, changing the splash screen is the same deal as before

I had one issue with WeatherPanel not working properly but I've since removed and haven't reinstalled yet.

edit: Oh yeah, A2DP confirmed out of the box, no cabs needed

it looks like it bricks your phone but what really happens is that people aren't doing the update properly. you must be in boot loader mode when applying the patch. btw, bricking your phone means its a brick and no longer works the issue I have with this update/hack is that it won't see my sd card after the second reboot I'm sure I'm not alone and there will likely be a fix for it like other issues and a cleaner ROM will probably arrive next week!

Great job on this guys! You're awesome and deserve a pat on the back!

seems you can fix the brick problem by reloading a factory sprint rom.

Help!! My iGuidance GPS is experiencing frequent random crashes. This usually happens when it detects the bluetooth GPS unit. I have a Holux GPSlim 236 on COM4 and I never had these kinds of crashes on my old AKU 2.2 or older ROMs.

Between this and the dissappearing storage card, I may have to revert by the end of next week. I hope there will be a solution to these two problems, because man, this AKU3.3 is fast!

Also, blimkey doesn't work, either =(
